Agave syrup is a natural fructose-based sweetener that is extracted from Agave cactus plants in Mexico. The indigenous people of Mexico traditionally gathered the sweet juice, known as aguamiel, from various varieties of Agave. They used it as a sweetener and to prepare special celebratory beverages.
Aunt Patty's Certified Organic Agave Syrup is also certified Kosher and is available in retail, foodservice and industrial size packaging. Its neutral flavor has caused it to become very popular in the natural food and beverage industry.
